Statement on Omnibus Proposal on CAP

(Brussels, 19 June 2017) FoodDrinkEurope welcomes the European Commission’s actions to simplify the current Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), undertaken since 2015. These actions include the agricultural provisions in the so-called Omnibus proposal, which aim at simplifying without jeopardising the 2013 political agreement on the CAP.
